Doggies!

No photoshoots scheduled so I'm posting some other stuff. That's my sister's dog Mochi (who has a severe case of ADHD) on top. Kris and Susy's dog Opus (who loves to eat chocolate and trash) is on the bottom.

** Update ** AC stopped by today (12/23) with his baby (the 30D). I caught him in action taking pics of Mochi.

Lily @ Disneyland

I was at Disneyland yesterday shooting at Bennitt landscape architecture firm's annual company holiday outting. I get a lot of compliments for my Silas pictures but to tell you the truth, it's easy to shoot cute kids. Here's another to add to my collection. Meet Lily, who was teasing me all day by refusing to smile and being shy but I caught some nice shots and at the end of the day, we were playing a great game of tag.

Lynn and Donovan @ Laguna Beach

I spent the lovely day shooting my friend and fellow grad student Lynn (looks and brains!) and her boyfriend Eagles QB Donovan. This was his Christmas gift from her so no surprise I guess. We weren't the only ones with this idea since I saw a ton of other photographers out there with some serious gear. None of which matched my small ladder and Lynn's 2 phone books that she brought just in case Donovan dwarfed her. Luckily we ended up not using them. To think, she was afraid she wouldn't look good in pictures!

Bonelli Park

I had a shoot today as a Christmas present for sisters Nat, Jackie, and Ashlee to their parents at Bonelli Park (right next to Raging Waters). They brought their significant others Gabe and Shaun (who both have an obsession with Borat and kept throwing out one-liners -- verryy niiice...hii fiii), along with Jackie and Gabe's daughter Graciela. As you can tell, she's super cute so I admit she got a good percentage of shots. Thanks to Anisa for the assistance today and the referral :)

I got a chance to play with AC's new baby today, the Canon 30D. Great camera, solid feel, and faaast with a huge screen. He's been wanting it for a long time now and he already had his first shoot at the Huntington Library today with a young family for some holiday photos. Poor guy post processed hundreds of shots - but he's fast! I was planning on tagging along and taking some pics but we ended up meeting for dinner, where I got this whopping migrane headache :( This shot of Ann and Johnny (check out his blog's link on the right) was taken by me messing around with the camera - I even helped out with a little processing for coolness.

This is one of my favorite photos I took at the Ritz just after sunset. I liked it so much I'm including a wallpaper size res 1024x768. I'm not going to post a photo of the week every week but this one is niiiice. Hii fiii.

Martina and Steve

I met this cute engaged couple, Steve and Martina, at the Ritz. I was waiting for Susy and Kris (who missed the sunset), and I couldn't let the perfect lighting conditions go to waste - lucky for me, this photogenic pair passed by. By the time Kris and Susy arrived, the fog was rolling in so we ended up taking mostly indoor shots. I came back the next day and got most of the pics from my previous post. Happy Thanksgiving!

Ritz-Carlton Dana Point

I spent the day shooting Kris and Susy on Susy's 30th Birthday (Happy Birthday!!) getaway at the Ritz in Dana Point. I'll post some pics of the couple very shortly and this other couple I met there Steve and Martina (once I get permission). But these are some details I caught throughout the day.

Halloween 06

They were playing this game where mini powdered donuts were eaten off a string without using their hands. They had to eat the entire donut or it doesn't count - you wouldn't believe the amount of donuts eaten. Hilarity ensued.
